Asraful Khan

Chartered Manager

Asraful Khan is a Management Professional (Chartered Manager) with a solid research background, industry experience, and a teaching portfolio.  He is a Self-directed, enthusiastic educator with a passionate commitment to student development and the learning experience, skilled in the design of challenging, enriching, and innovative activities that address the diverse interests and needs of students. Mr. Khan is educationally enlightened, technologically savvy, and open to pedagogical changes to create a positive and challenging learning environment. He has a dynamic and versatile personality and is an ebullient source of energy to the people around him.

Asraful Khan is currently working as a Lecturer at Arden University. He taught a number of University’s programmes in Business and Management. His current and previous teaching roles in UK Higher Education Institutions have involved a great deal of work with international and local students at different levels. Mr. Khan is also holding several academic quality assurance roles. He is External Examiner and Standard Verifier for Pearson Educational. He was also working with Cambridge Assessment (OCR) UK as Moderator and External Examiner for ABMA. Moreover, he used to work with the many UK awarding organisations operating in Europe and other parts of the world.

Asraful Khan holds an EMBA in HRM from Paris School of Business, an MBA in Finance from the University of Wales, an on-campus programme in Leadership in Organisations from London School of Economics (LSE). His numerous academic awards included (a) diploma in Education and Training, (b) Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement, and (c) award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (qualified Teacher, Assessor and Internal Verifier) apart from a first degree. Khan is also a doctoral researcher at the University of East Anglia. Khan’s research interest is aligned to entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on innovation and sustainability. He is also a Co-author of book chapter “Future of Tourism in Asia” published by Springer.
